Orthodox tea leaves are plucked from tea garden 20 minutes(Thelanchaur) or 40 minutes (Khoria) away from resort’s site.
Tea requires the shade of spatially located trees which make them excellent place for resting and enjoying the green scene.
We collect the tea leaves and handroll them to yield black tea. The tea can be sipped as green tea until 2 weeks from the rolled date.

Orthodox black tea is grown at an altitude of 1400m from sea level.
The Making of:

The tea plant is already 6 years old and can grow quite well even without weeding.
- Plucking of top 3 leaves
- Letting it wilt in rushing air under shade for 1/1.5 days
- Hand-rolling the leaves hard, so that all the oils come out.
- Letting it get dry inside shade in open air for 3 days.
- Skimming off the thorns off the dry leaves.
- Roast it in sun for an hour before packing.
Cook time: 6 minutes
– 2 teaspoonful for strong tea and 1 teaspoonful for normal tea
– 1 or 2 sugar cubes per taste
– 1.5 cup of water
Boil the water in a teapot. Put tea leaves in the water and turn down the heat to simmering water mode(80 to 90 degrees). Let it be for 3 minutes. Pour out the ready tea. Add sugar to your taste. The tea leaves grow by ten times its dry size. (P.S. Take away the leaves or the tea gets bitter)
